1990s Haute Couture Yves Saint Laurent Red and Gold Gripoix Earrings

These late 1980s to early 1990s haute couture earrings are entirely handmade from a deep red poured glass (gripoix) set into a beaded circular flat mount of gilt metal. They are a clip on attachment. My client was a former model for Harrods and Yves Saint Laurent from the mid 1980s to early 1990s and was given these as a gift. We are currently listing many signed items from this collection. Haute couture jewellery, even up to the 1990s, was often unsigned and referencing these to runway photos is often painstaking work. Probably made by Goossens, who designed and manufactured for many haute couture clients including Chanel.

Very good vintage condition - no issues.
