2008 Documented Chloe Resort Rainbow Ribbonwork Skirt

Made in France, this fun mini-skirt was designed during Chloé’s playful noughties years. With Paulo Malim Andersson at the helm, the post-boho era saw colour take over at the fashion house. The 2008 Resort collection dripped with splashes of paint and psychedelic embroideries. This mini-skirt opened the show. Crafted from black silk, it is cut to a high-waist style with an adaptable elasticated waistband. A real stand-out motif throughout the show, it is festooned with ribbonwork embroidery in kaleidoscopic hues. These swirling rainbows surround patches of crystals and silver beadwork, alongside occasional teardrops of iridescent plastic. This skirt is fully lined in black satin and fastens at the rear with a tonal black zip and hook-and-eye clasp.

This skirt is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws. The composition label states that it is 100% Silk with a lining of 75% Polyester, 25% Nylon. It states that it is a French 38, UK 10, but sizes vary between brands so please check our below measurements carefully. The fabric has no stretch.
