Yves Saint Laurent, Rive Gauche corset top with tassel ties

This iconic Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche corset top, originally released in “Ballets " 1976-1977 F/W, and subsequently in several colours in his famous “Les Espagnoles et Les Romantiques” 77 S/S runway show is a true collector’s dream.

This one is from the YSL S/S show and features an Indigo blue cotton,  elasticated pleated puff sleeves and a front tassel tie, reflecting its historic design and subsequent spring-summer release. Has a peplum fit and a front tie. This rare piece combines structural bust support with distinctive curved aesthetics.
